Gospel singer and worship minister Purist Ogboi has released “El-Gibbor,” an energetic praise song that celebrates God's goodness, mighty works, and faithfulness.
Drawing from the vibrant rhythms of traditional Igbo praise music, the song creates an atmosphere of joyful thanksgiving, encouraging listeners to reflect on God's intervention in their lives and give Him the glory for what only He could have done.
The title, “El-Gibbor,” is a Hebrew expression meaning Mighty God, a name associated with God's strength and power in Isaiah 9:6. Through this release, Purist Ogboi acknowledges God as the One whose ability goes beyond human limitations and whose mighty acts deserve unreserved praise.
A memorable declaration in the song captures its central message: “El-Gibbor has done for me what no man can do.” It is a testimony of gratitude, recognising that some victories, breakthroughs, and blessings can only be attributed to God's hand.
With its lively African praise rhythm and straightforward message of thanksgiving, “El-Gibbor” invites listeners to celebrate God's faithfulness with their whole hearts. It is a fitting sound for personal thanksgiving, church praise sessions, and moments of rejoicing over God's goodness.
Through “El-Gibbor,” Purist Ogboi turns personal gratitude into a joyful expression of worship, reminding believers to acknowledge the Mighty God behind every testimony.
“El-Gibbor” by Purist Ogboi is available on digital music platforms, with the official music video also available on YouTube.
