The song was written during a songwriting camp hosted by Brandon Lake in late 2025, with co-writers including Benjamin William Hastings, Trannie Anderson, and Micah Nichols. It is accompanied by a remix of Jonas’s track “Hope” featuring Lake’s vocals.
“This song is about letting go and trusting the One who’s really writing your story,” said Brandon Lake. “Teaming up with Nick on this was special, two different worlds coming together for one powerful message.”
Nick Jonas added his voice to the collaboration, reflecting on faith, identity, and personal journey through the track.
